I have not been paying attention to Image optimization in the past, i was more concentrating on Search Engine optimization for the Text or content alone. However Since after i tried to follow below step i receive considerably good traffic through Search Engine’s image search to my site.
Here are the Few easy step that can help drive more traffic through your Images.
- Always enter description in the title attribute
- Set the Width and Height of the Image
- try to enter keywords as your image name for keyword-name-image.jpg
- Enter the keywords in Alt tags
Following these Steps can considerly increase your traffic through image search and hence increases your site Overall ranking.
