Today Morning out of the blue the pop-up window appears on my laptop when i tried to upload an image to my blog post. I got suspicious since it’s very rare or I think it was for the first time i noticed Firefox crashing on my computer. I even reinstalled the firefox but the problem was persistent, I tried to ask my buddies over Twitter how to no avail and finally I googled through the Wordpress forums and learned that it’s a widespread problem and quick redemy to this problem is ‘ Just disable Google Gears ‘ and restart your browser and the problem should go away. I worked for me. Apparently it seems to be a bug with Gears that need to be fixed. There is no problem however either with Wordpress or Firefox.

It’s Google Gears! Go to Tools>Addons and disable Google Gears, the problem is fixed. See more here:
