    As I noted in my previous Post about Microsoft’s New Search Engine (Decision Engine) Bing is backed by unprecedented $80 Million Advertising campagein. And Microsoft has started with below TV Commercial in US and sooner to be broadcasted in other countries as well.

    The commercial is targeted at people who want to make decisions when searching for something online, Just like if they want to purchase something just like flight tickets, electronics etc. It’s One minute AD and did really impress me. Irionically Microsoft itself is not being mentioned in the AD, only clue you get it’s owned by Microsoft is at the last two seconds where you would notice Microsoft notice. I have already reviewed that Bing is by far a better and improved version of Live Search engine. And it’s first week of launch it even overtook Yahoo as the No.2 Search Engine yet we got to see if the growth of Bing is sustainable and whether TV commercial can help Bing getting traffic from Google. Only time will tell. Here is the ad.

      Does it have the potential to overtake google? i mean people would still find the phrase “google it” catchy rather than “bing” it

        well, i don’t think it could overtake google but is a better, i meant a lot better search engine by Microsoft than Live
