I guess every blog post written on any blog has a source whether it be other blogs in their specific Niche, or Online Discussion forums which are also very helpful to get you some idea or information to write a blog post esp., related to Tech Blog which are particularly on the rise in blogosphere and earlier I Tweeted that without them Blogging will be totally dead. And another good source for me is Social media sites like Digg, Twitter, Facebook, and Stumble upon.
Blogging as a whole seems to be on decline, and in my little experience so far most active blogging community is from South East Asia namely, Indian Bloggers, Pakistani Bloggers and Chinese Bloggers. However every other day i try to find how do other bloggers source their posts, If one is sourcing a post from another blog then i don’t mind that at all and would be good to see that a due credit link is mentioned to the Original posts this helps build relationship with other bloggers in the same niche as well. However I would appreciate if you could let us know other ways than i have mentioned which you use as a source to write posts for you blogs in the comments below. To me some of them are News sites, Online Forums, Social Media sites even the Print media and of course other blogs in the same niche and i try my best to give credit where credit is due and it had helped me develop relationship with other bloggers in my niche so quickly.
I usually tell the name of person, whom i quote, that’s usually when they speak/email/sms me for the information they share.
However, i do link back in case i refer to online media.
In case i refer to print media, i mention its name with the date of publication.
