The parent company of the popular Blogging CMS WordPress Automattic has acquired a spellcheck plugin called ‘After the deadline’ announced in a blog post. It has already been installed on the WordPress.com hosted Blogs and for self-hosted WordPress installs you can get it from here.

What stands out ATD from the rest of the Spellcheck plugins that it not only looks for spelling errors but also help you identify grammatical mistakes and determines whether you have used a word in a right context . It would significantly will improve your writing and eliminate all the grammatical, style and spelling errors from your posts.
Even though I have got Google toolbar installed on my Firefox browser and it’s spellcheck so far works fine for me, However I am now inclined to use this plugin because of its two more feature that most of the other spellcheckers don’t have. This plugin communicates with a service for which you need to get an API if you want to install it on a self-hosted WordPress blog.
