Today we are featuring an interesting Search Engine ImHalal that is specifically designed for Muslims. It would filter out or warn beforehand if you search for products or websites that are Haram. Haram is an Arabic term which means things or actions which have been forbidden according to Islamic law.
It very much functions like any other search engine such as Google or Yahoo, however only difference is that if you enter a keyword that could possibly fetch results which may contain Haram content, it would simply warn you beforehand. For instance i entered a keyword ‘beer’ and before taking me to search result page it showed a warning that your search enquiry has a Haram Level of 1 out 3.
This particular search engine could come in handy for Muslims who are living in Western countries, and if they are not sure if certain product is Halal or Haram then better to search for that product in this search engine.
