If you are stuck with your Old and Scratched CD or DVD and can’t read or download the Data off the disc. Here you may try an absurd method to recover the Data from your CD which is not readable otherwise. And this Method involves use of Toothpaste, Yes that’s right, Toothpaste. And there is a lucky fellow for which this method has worked and he was able to recover the Data completely from his 6 years old CD.
Toothpaste is used to polish the plastic surface of the CD which is usually scratched. Apply Toothpaste all over the CD and gently polish it until the scratches are removed and later wash the CD. And if this method does not work then you can apply Metal Polish instead of Toothpaste and you can even use Vaseline as well. If the CD still does not start working properly you can apply above method over again until all the scratches are removed as advised here.
