Today we are sharing a very helpful Tip for WordPress power users. If you blog frequently and have hundreds of blog posts with images then you might notice that your image upload folder might be getting bigger in size, by default WordPress create two additional thumbnails of each image you upload. Hence it increases the Image folder size substantially over the time.

However you can simply disable creation of two additional thumbnail images, Just going to Admin area. Settings > Media and clear image thumbnail and Medium Size width and height columns and save the changes. It should now show 0 in both columns for Thumbnail Size and Medium Size. And now you would notice WordPress will no longer create thumbnail image for any of the uploaded images and it would certainly save the disk space on your hosting account.
