Previously we have shared several Online Tools and Proxies sites with our readers to Access Blocked Websites, and If you missed it you can still find it here in this post, How to Access Blocked Websites , However today we discovered a Website called ‘WhatBlocked’ which displays the  list of most popular Websites under different categories such as, News & Information, Social & Communication, Photo & Video, etc which are currently being blocked or accessible in China.

And it does not surprise me that Most popular Social Networking Sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr are the on the Block list which are shown in the Red color. While of some these Websites are ‘partially’ accessible which include BBC News and Wikipedia and are displayed in the Yellow Color. And There are really a few lucky Websites shown in Green Color which are accessible and some of them include Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo Mail. This list of Websites is updated periodically and you can see the complete list of the sites banned inside China at the Whatblocked Website. And I sincerely hope my this tiny blog does not get on the block list after this post *Chuckles*

Can’t surf the internet w/o a VPN in China. I’m using Freedur now. It is very fast and stable..

Yup, I’m on Freedur too. It’s the best solution I’ve tried so far. It is very frustrating that the Chinese government hasn’t unbanned these websites yet, most people are only interested in accessing Facebook, Twitter, etc. to connect with friends and family back home anyway. In fact, I only found out WHY they’re blocking these sites after they did so.
